A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Keltron Component Complex Ltd and Govt. College of Engineering (GCEK) Kannur. Dr. Rajesh K N, Principal, Govt. College of Engineering Kannur and Mr. K.G. Krishnakumar, Managing Director of Keltron Component Complex Ltd, exchanged the MoU.

The main objective of this MoU is to establish a platform for fostering a strong and mutually beneficial relationship between KELTRON-KANNUR and EEE-GCEK. The primary goals are:

• To build and enhance strategic ties between EEE-GCEK and the departments at KELTRON-KANNUR, aiming to explore the creation of a Centre of Excellence in the domain of Electric Transportation and Storage mainly in super-capacitors.
• To understand the needs and expectations of both the institute and the organization and to identify the measures required to meet requirement therein.

The “steering committee” constituted for the coordination of these activities consists of Dr. Manoj Kumar.M.V. (Associate Professor, EEE-GCEK), Dr. Anjali Anand.K (Asst.Professor, EEE-GCEK), Dr. Nisha.B.Kumar (Asst.Professor, EEE-GCEK), Prof. Jisha.P (Asst.Professor, EEE-GCEK), Sri. Anil.T.S (GM, KELTRON), Sri. Anoop Babu.K (Dy.Manager, KELTRON), Sri. Kiran.A.M (Dy.Manager, KELTRON) and Smt. Sabna.J (Dy.Manager, KELTRON).
